I've been waiting for more analysis from you for the episode 2. Thank you for this!
While reading this entry, I realized that one of the shots (long shot with Jeong-won facing the camera and his friends are around him) makes us feel like we're the 6th friend that he is sharing the news to. We're the 6th friend seated in front of Jeong-won…

This supports your insight that we're just like Song-hwa and Ik-Jun who have seen and observed Gyeo-ul and JW, and we're just as happy as them.
Like you, I'm also glad that Seok-Hyeong closed the door on Sinhye. I'm rooting for Min-Ha, too, as she is able to slowly peel the layers of Seok-Hyeong. It's slow like a slug but she is able to do it. Min-Ha is able to connect to Seok-Hyeong not just as a doctor/colleague but also as a human being.
Seok-Hyeong has come a long way from Season 1's early episodes when he made an excuse that he has to check an MRI result (leaving Min-Ha, Gyeo-ul and other staff) to being able to have noodles with Min-Ha. That's character development.
I still think about Ik-Jun losing his patience to the liver recipient. That gave Ik-Jun more character depth.
I'm inclined to think that Seok-heyong puts on a bit of a grumpy act but he's secretly pleased that Min-ha isn't so easily put off. That's the feeling i get when I see him interact with her. She amuses him and he feels more inclined to tell her things.
I'm doing a terrible juggling act right now unfortunately -- blogging, watching and writing a fanfic. ;) Plus I work from home. :D

I love your 6th friend perspective. I totally feel like the 6th friend!
