Thanks you to you, I saw this with my friend in theatre, and it's hilarious I did because I've been indifferent towards Godzilla as a whole. The one movie I ever saw was the American one in the 90s as a kid and don't remember much of it. I did really enjoy GMO and was curious because of your recommendation. I struggled however with some of the scenes where I think they were trying to show Shikishima with PTSD or recounting this to Noriko. But overall I enjoyed this, especially for someone who doesn't know much about the lore of Godzilla.
I think specifically when he was telling Noriko about his demons, he was staring at her and it looked like he wanted to kill her 😂. But overall I still think he did decent enough. And the movie as a whole is good. I didn't realize how many Godzilla movies there are too. So I'm glad this was a good one.

Did you think that those scenes with him showing signs of PTSD not convincing?
I've seen a few Godzilla movies including the one you mentioned (I think) but I've only recently discovered that there are 38 of them!
