I enjoyed listening to your discussions on dramas, especially the ones I was familiar with. I also learned about looking at trends of Douyin. My favorite drama of 2024 was “Blossom" and “Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty- Season 2". Hope you and loved ones are safe and healthy.
I dropped “When the Phone Rings" after ep. 4. I am not quite sure I understand the appeal of it from the start, but I do know so many people were flabbergasted by the last episode. Hahaha.
As for "Lovely Runner”, that drama started off well for me but then by ep. 3 when they put in the story of the best friend and brother, I was rolling my eyes. My friends still want me to finish it, but I might be speed watching down the line. I feel the drama could have been a movie even, or like you said, a short series. The female character there didn't feel memorable to me and instead was frustrating.
